Actions Urinary acidifier. Indications Cystitis and alkaline/susceptible urinary calculi in dogs and cats. Prevention of fatty liver in dogs. Dosage and Administration Cats. 100 to 400 mg two to three times daily or as directed by a veterinarian. Dogs. 25 mg/kg two to three times daily or as directed by a veterinarian. One-third of the total daily dosage may be given every eight hours. Given whole or crushed and mixed with food.
