Actions Paraffin is a lubricant laxative; cod liver oil, containing vitamin A and vitamin D, together with vitamin E ensures that induced fat soluble vitamin deficiencies do not occur when paraffin oil is given over long periods. Indications Constipation in cats and small dogs especially when caused by fur accumulation. Precautions Regular grooming will help prevent hair accumulation. If constipation persists or the animal refuses food, consult a veterinarian. Avoid prolonged use. Dosage and Administration 5 cm (5 g) paste once daily onto the cat's nose or tongue or onto the pad where it may be licked off. For small or large animals adjust the dose accordingly.
