Manufacturer: Mavlab Pty Ltd Registered Name Fleatrol Plus Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) Quick-Dry Insecticidal Spray for Cats, Dogs and Households Composition Each L contains N-octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide 6.0 g, piperonyl butoxide 3.6 g, methoprene 4.0 g, pyrethrins 1.8 g; no petroleum solvents. Actions Methoprene is an insect growth regulator. In insects the natural pyrethrins, which have no anticholinesterase activity, cause slow closure of the sodium channel activation gate resulting in hyperexcitation followed by convulsions and death. The pyrethrins are synergised by piperonyl butoxide which has a minor repellent action in its own right. N-octyl bicycloheptene dicarboximide is also a synergist.
